There are blogs and then it’s yours truly. Well, it’s yours truly attempt at offering an alternative to the same old same old. Or as others would say “it is, what it is”. (Personally, I really don’t care for that saying, no offense). Well, no it isn’t what it is, not all of the time. Here I am just another ordinary person who’s not a published author although a poem I authored is published in a book of poems by the “Library of Congress”. Hey, before you begin your sneering, I was voted one of the top third entries. Ok? And let’s not forget the editorial that I the ordinary person was asked by one of the late editors of the “Amsterdam News” to publish in their paper. That was a proud moment in my life back then. So, I have a few bragging points in my resume. But, I am here now to communicate to the readers my perspective on a range of topics. Of course I have my passions and love to write on them. And those things will become obvious to the reader. I am not here to be labeled as controversial; however I will write about controversial topics. Life can be controversial. I will speak about black issues and why not? As a black person there’s so many issues that are affecting the black population doubled the amount of those of other nationalities. So, I offer no apologies in writing about these topics to anyone black, white, brown, yellow and so forth. It would be negligence of me to not mention that I have a strong belief in God. Please keep this in mind if you feel that I’m crossing the line. I will be pushing the lines. I do welcome your emails and comments. Communications is a two way street.
